Kyle, I always like to start out by addressing my artist first. Thank you so much for your cooperation. Depending on what you would like this book to look like will vary my art and how I want the color scheme and page layout to be. Do you want black and white, or would you want to do color? Personally I want color, but it is up to you. This issue will probably be the simplest yet most complicated book we do. Simple in the fact that there is not a lot of character interaction and only hints of the story being laid out, but very hard for the fact that we’re trying to make a book that can be read forwards and backwards. I think we’re both up to the challenge, so let’s not punk out. Remember render any panel stuff with the idea in mind that it’s going to be read both ways, and I made sure the dialogue could me mixed around so that it can be read either way. Chino is going to be addressing the audience pretty much the whole time, while still interacting with characters within the story. It does not matter where the background quotes fall, that can go on any page.
PAGE 1. PANEL 1.
This panel will be all black with only this text being displayed. Along with the footnote.
“Our planet is covered with geometrically constructed 'morpho genetic grids'. These grids extend from about 60 feet under the Earth's surface to about 60 miles above the Earth, arranged in geometric patterns. Each species has its own grid, which supports life, and connects the consciousness of its particular species. Before any species can come into existence or make an evolutionary step, a new grid must be completed. When a species becomes extinct, that particular species' grid dissolves.
A new grid was completed in 1989 - the 'Christ-consciousness' grid. This grid will allow humans to evolve into our next version. We'll develop two additional chromosomes for a total or 46 + 2.
The main change will be a shift to the "unity consciousness". Every cell in your body has its own consciousness and memory. You, the higher being that occupies your body, make the millions of different consciousnesses in your body work together as one being. How does this relate to this grid? Think of yourself as a cell and the grid as the higher being. We will still have individual consciousness, but will be united in the form of a higher being in order to work as one entity."

This is an end of the world party at a bar. December 21st 2012, about 1 minute to midnight. Show a bunch of people having a good time, drinking and dancing as well as sitting down, and also listening to the band.
Chino sits at the bar, he has a drink in front of him, a pack of cigarettes and a zippo sit on the bar. He has his hands on his head, looking down at the bar. There are all sorts of people sitting behind him, a band plays on a stage in the bar. His one bit of dialogue on this page is this:
Chino: “I get bored.”
What I would like to do is throw in all of those quotes throughout the issue, so let’s not cram all of them on this one page, because we’ll have a lot of pages to put them into.
PAGE 4. PANEL 1.
Chino is outside of the bar having a cigarette, he is already smoking it, no need to show him lighting it.
There is a clock somewhere on the panel showing that it’s 11:30 p.m., so this panel is a half hour before the other one.
Chino/Caption: “Do you know what’s fun about space-time? You can go anywhere in it.”

A shot of space, with all sorts of galaxies swirling with it.
Chino/Caption: “I will break free from this, you’ll see.”
PAGE 5. PANEL 1.
Chino is driving in his car. His car clock says 11:00 p.m.
Chino/Caption: “32 paths, only one road behind you.”
PAGE 6. PANEL 1.
This is a couple months earlier. In fact it’s his birthday, October 4th, 2012.
Chino is eating sushi, Sophia is next to him. She looks at him as he talks to us.
Chino/Caption: “I can’t wait till you’re ready for what I’m going to show you.”

Sophia looks at us and winks. Chino is pouring a beer.
Chino: “I like alcohol, it makes time travel easier.”
PAGE 7. PANEL 1.
Chino, Abe, Chi, Steph, and Frank are playing on stage for a packed house in a bar.

A small panel showing a flyer for Chino’s band.
The flyer should read: “September 12th, 2012: the last show for our local heroes! Donkey Fucker LIVE.” There is a muted horn symbol.
Chino: “Creation is the ultimate act.”
PAGE 8. PANEL 1.
Chino is talking with his parents. They are at his Dad’s resturaunt, his parents sit at the counter while he is behind it. He holds a string with a bead on it. On a calendar it says August, 2012.
Chino: “Don’t let your perception be limited to three dimensions; it’s no fun that way.”
PAGE 9. PANEL 1.
Chino lays in bed at a hotel room. Myung is watching the door. The television is on. There are signs in the back ground that I want to mirror the eyes of the dark god from panel 4 on this page.
PAGE 9. PANEL 2.
This panel is side by side with the other one. The gutter splitting the two panels is the door that separates the hotel room from the hotel hallway. In the hallway in the second panel is the Man. He is walking towards the door. I want the hallway to look very white, white walls, white ceiling, white carpet, so that it mirrors the next panel.
Chino: “Beware big minds with small plans.”
PAGE 9. PANEL 3.
Chino sits in the Lotus position, in an all white panel.
Chino: “Watch out for the blank white wall, it will envelop you if you let it.”
PAGE 9. PANEL 4.
A pair of burning red eyes have plasma energy emitting from them, staring down at Chino from the opposite panel.
PAGE 10-11. Splash Page.
Montage of images for these two pages. I want the pages that mark the changes in the series, and in the characters to be separated by a two page splash page. The images should swirl and mix, and let you know a lot stuff is packed into these two pages.
Chino is on a date with Myung. They are laughing and having a good time with each other. Chino and Myung are watching a movie together. Chino and Myung are having sex. Talking to each other, having a drink together, hanging out with friends, having dinner, asleep together.
Chino: “Things are going to get strangely normal, and then it’s going to blow your synapses apart.”

Chino is being shot at. What I want from this panel is basically bullets bouncing off him. This will reflect, for him, what will be the most bad ass part of the series. At this moment all of his personalities have aligned and he’s ready to tackle the world.

A group of men in suits watch monitors, and one of them is smoking. All high military government official types.
Aarfy: “He’s out.”
Chino/Caption: “Beware small minds with big plans.”

Chino punches a hole through a wall.

Chino is sitting in his cell, he is freaking out, I want to see how well you can make this look like a TOOL video, as far as the freak out he’s going through is concerned. This is a key moment for Chino. He is unifying his personalities at this moment, I would like for each panel to have a tone, or palette, that makes it look visually different from the last one. Another good thing would be to show his face as he’s going through this.

Myung and Chino are driving in a car at night. They are approaching Area 51, behind them are military jeeps that are shooting at them.
Chino/Caption: “BOLLOCKS!”

Chino is talking to Scorpio Israeli. Scorpio is stomping around his apartment. Chino is holding papers in his hand.

Behind this first paper is another official looking paper that has the words in bold print: “PROJECT SEELE.”

The Man is pulling Chino up by his shirt with one arm, and uncocking the hammer with the other, but it can look like he might be cocking it (remember we’re fucking with the audience because this is going backwards), and is smiling. Chino is beaten and bloody.

Chino: “I can’t fix you, I can only help you.”

Chino (in Sophia’s body) is taking a pee in the bathroom. Hair is pulled back. She is wearing a Tori Amos t-shirt and jeans, and converse. I want her clothes to reflect a female Chino.

I just want a bunch of random panels of Chino and Sophia inside apartments, at a restaurant, inside a bar, smoking weed in a park, going camping. In all of these panels there should be a few other people. They’re not very important characters, the only thing that should be noted is that they are the same age as Chino and Sophia, and they are like them. Maybe in the panel where they are smoking weed at a Park ( I was thinking you could make it that park you were telling me about it San Francisco) there will need to be one character that stands out, a Japanese kid, in a traditional Japanese school uniform (black jacket, white undershirt, and black pants, I’ll find you a picture).

Do small vignettes to the right of the map. I’ll show you a really good example of a page from a Batman book that’s pretty much what I want.

Chino is at the Daft Punk concert, but it seems like reality is melting around him, aliens and, and images of other things are coming in. There are silvery blobs around, a Giant red orb that looks like an ovum is prominent in the cent of the panel. I want this to look like a psycadelic mental break down. You might want to put tears or cracks on the page to add to his actual break up. In the top left corner is a smaller inlayed panel of Chino puking up silvery looking material. In the lower right hand corner is an inlayed panel of him smoking D.M.T.

Chino, Myung, Chi, and Chino’s cousin Mala, are riding in a car on the way to Coachella. Mala is handing Chino the D.M.T. On the back of the car I would like it to say: “Future Class of ’06.” This Coachella trip is an early Graduation present for Chino and Chi.

Chino, Chi, Frank, Steph, and Abe are all sitting around a table smoking weed. I would like for it to look like an aerial view of what 70’s Show circle looks like.

Chino has put down the comic, and is on his cell phone, he is calling Steph.

Chino is at home reading a comic book, make it look like a Flash type character.
Chino/Caption: “I love superheroes, they can do anything.”

Chino is younger here, around age 12-13. He is playing poker with his dad. Chino has a big stack of money, his dad has nothing.

Chino’s dad takes a drag off a cigarette.
Dad: “I thought you said this was your first time playing.”
Chino: “It is.”
PAGE 46-47. Two Page Spread.
Chino is shown aging here from an infant to a six year old. Starting from the left side of the page he is around six. Chino is talking to his toy on one part of the page.
Chino: “There are times you will understand what I’m saying, and others you will eventually understand.”
Next section of the page I want to show his dad slamming the door as he walks out of the house. Chin’s Mom is crying. Chino is about four, he is watching television. The channels are changing, but Chino isn’t touching the remote.
Next section of the page Chino is about two years old, and he says: “I’ll be fine Mom.” His mother looks at him confused.
Mom: “Did you hear that?”
PAGE 48.
A baby is being born, this of course is Chino, but all I want shown is the doctor holding the baby after it was born.
Chino: “We’re about to begin a great journey together.”
