Chino,
smoking, is in shorts, low top converse, hat, and white t-shirt,
sunglasses. Myung is in a yellow
sundress, sun hat, flip flops, and has an umbrella, sunglasses. Chi is in a wife beater, cut off shorts, and
flip flops, he has a fedora on, sunglasses on.
He has a small weed, glass pipe.
Mala, smoking, is in short shorts, black wife beater, bra straps showing,
vans slip ons, and sunglasses.
The four characters are walking behind and in front of
groups of people along a line of port-o-potties behind fences. Their feet are a little dirty already from
the ground being somewhat muddy.
Myung: “That is a
lovely smell.”
Chino: “Ah, that shit has been baking in this heat
for only a few hours, imagine what it’s going to be like on Sunday.”
Chi: “I’m pretty sure
they empty ‘em. Don’t they Mala?”
Mala: “Oh, for sure,
or else there would be a mountain of shit.
The health authorities would be all over this place. But it doesn’t get
much better inside.”
PAGE 1. PANEL 2.
Chino
is now smoking the weed pipe, they continue to walk, they are in a line. Chi is resting his arm on Mala’s shoulder. Mala looks at him.
Myung: “How many
years have you come here?”
Mala: “This is my
third. I know it seems like a lot of
money at first, but you get three days of music, and you’ll probably see like
thirty bands, and you’re paying three hundred.
So, it’s like seeing TOOL or Radiohead for 10 bucks.”
Chi: “That’s so cool
Mala, who else have you seen?”
PAGE 1. PANEL 3.
Mala is being searched by a female security guard. Chi is hiding the pipe in his underwear.
Mala: “The cure,
Public Enemy, Gnarls Barkley, The Black Keys, Damien Marley, Nine Inch Nails…”
PAGE 1. PANEL 4.
Mala is through the security passage, so is everyone else,
chino is putting his hat back on.
Mala: “…The Rapture,
Rage, and so many others. It’s totally
worth it.”
Chino: “Then let’s get fucked up on some drugs and
watch some music.”
Chi: “Listen to
music, not see it.”
Chino: “We should be so high we’re seeing it.”
Myung: “Oh god…”

DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD.
The four of them are like ants now in an over head shot that
sees how vast the festival is. I’ll
attach a picture of the Polo field so you know what you’re drawing. But to give a general description, it has
five separate stages that are about a football field apart in some cases. There is a giant Ferris Wheel, sculptures throughout
the grounds, a rave tent towards what could be called the center. Food booths, merchandise booths line and
surround the interior of the festival.
Porta potties enclaves separate some the stages as do beer gardens with
food booths that line them and create borders for them. It’ll be easier when you see the
picture.
Myung: “…this is
going to be lovely.”
Chi: “Who do you want
to see first?”
Chino:
“Let me check a schedule.”
Mala: “They’re over
here, next to the merch booth.”
PAGE 4. PANEL 1.
Chino
is smoking some more weed.
Myung: “Take it easy
Chong.”
Chi: “HA! You can be
Cheech and Chong ‘cus you’re Mexican and Chinese. I love it.”
Mala: “Burn.”
PAGE 4. PANEL 2.
Chino
blows out smoke.
Chino: “Fuck you guys.”
Mala: “It says that
MGMT is playing at the Mojave tent.
Chino: “Hell yea!”
Chi: “I’m bummed we
missed the first day.”
Mala: “It’s cool,
still a ton of shit to see.”
Myung: “Plus DAFT
PUNK! I’m going to be dancing my ass
off.”
PAGE 4. PANEL 3.
Our four characters stand in the tent listening to the
band. It’s hot, so they’re all sweating. Myung has folded her umbrella up. They’re sunglasses are off, lying on their
heads or tucked into their shirts or shorts.
Mala smokes and listens.
Chi is putting something new into his pipe.
Chi: “Got some
salvia.”
Chino: “Light it.”
Music: “Where we can
crush some plants to paint my walls,
And I won't try to fight in the weekend wars
Was I? I was to lazy to bathe…”

smokes the Salvia.
Music: “…Or paint or write or try to make a change.

Chino: “Where am I?”
Wikki: “Stuck in your
head.”
Mythos: “In Hell.”
PAGE 5. PANEL 4.
Chino
is hearing a bunch of noise around him, he’s doubled over in pain. Mala is in front of him, she is slapping his
face.
Chino: “STOP IT!”
Mala: “QUIT BEING A
BITCH AND HANDLE YOUR SHIT!”
PAGE 5. PANEL 5.
Chino
straightens up. Mala and Myung stand
next to him.
Mala: “What’d aunt
Kim always say?”
Chino: “’If you can’t handle you’re shit, don’t do
it.”
Mala: “That was you
not handling you’re shit.”
Chino: “Sorry.
Where’s Chi?”
Myung: “Not handling
his shit.”
PAGE 5. PANEL 6.
Chi is hugging the grass, and smiling. The rest of them look down at him.
Mala: “We’re related
to some bitches.”
Myung: “Don’t remind
me.”

but still around the corner.
Mexican Youth 1: “I’ll
give you a down payment, for a few, see if I like ‘em.”
Mexican Youth 2: “Culo, where you get all that money?”
Mexican Youth 1:
“Movin’ me up into the paying positions when those O.G.s got grabbed

Mexican Youth 2:

PAGE 6. PANEL 5.

PAGE 8. PANEL 1.
It is now evening at the Coachella music festival, the sun
is not all the way down yet though, it’s created a reddish hue above the
mountains, and it’s a little darker on the polo field.
Chino
and Myung are sitting on the grass, we can see the legs of Mala and Chi, in
addition to the legs of many other attendees.
Chino is
handing the weed pipe upward, Chi’s arm is descending from above the panel line
to take the pipe. Myung is raising her
arm that has a bottle of water in it, she’s about to drink form it. Chino
has a cigarette in his free hand.
Myung: “How come you
want to get so fucked up this weekend?”
Chino: “I don’t know. I just do.
Can’t ignore my id.”
Myung: “What’s that?”
Chino: “Freud said all you’re basic animal instinct
desires and wants derive from you’re id.”
Myung: “What stops us
from doing whatever we want then?”
PAGE 8. PANEL 2.
Chino
is smoking a cigarette. Myung is putting
her cap on a bottle of water.
Chino:
“Our super-ego. It’s puts the breaks on
whatever we think is wrong and we cannot do.
Of course it doesn’t always work, or else we’d be a vice, violence, and
sex free society.”
Myung: “How do you
determine what’s wrong?”
Chino: “I don’t know. Some stuff you just know, like killing some
one is bad. But other things like
stealing and stuff, well the Rev helped me with a lot of that. You?”
Myung: “I just think
about the type of person I wouldn’t like to be around, and what they would do,
and I try to act like the opposite of that person.”
PAGE 8. PANEL 3.
Chino
has taken his hat off, his hair is matted down because of the heat and sweat.
Chino: “That’s what Jung calls the shadow. All you’re negative emotions, all the things
that you consider alien and opposite.
Funny thing is, we have all this inside us, it’s just choosing who you
want to be, you know?”
Myung: “Yeah. So, you going to keep getting fucked up
today?”
Chino: “Make you a deal: Yes, I am still going to mess myself up
tonight, but nothing tomorrow, I swear.”
Myung: “Yeah, sure.”
PAGE 8. PANEL 4.
Chino
puts his pinky out.
Chino: “Pinky swear.”
Myung: “The most holiest of promises. You know I’ll dump you’re ass if you break a
pinky swear.”
Chino: “I know.”
PAGE 8. PANEL 5.
Their pinkie’s are interlocked.
Chino: “I swear I will only get fucked up tonight,
and not tomorrow.”
Myung: “Kiss you’re
thumb.”
PAGE 8. PANEL 6.
Chino
and Myung kiss their thumbs.
Myung: “Put ‘em
together.”

PAGE 9. PANEL 1.
Milo and Wintergreen Sit at
a table, a map of Earth is behind them with dots marking up bits of each
country on the planet. Kind of like the
underground lab in Dr. Strangelove.
Milo: “I can’t believe it’s almost complete.”
Wintergreen: “We’ve
worked long and hard.”
Milo: “It will all just make sense. Once everyone has to do what we tell them,
they will finally listen to us.”
Wintergreen: “They
won’t be able to argue with us.”
PAGE 9. PANEL 2.
Milo is standing looking at
the map of earth.
Milo: “So long ago on
Pianosa I could not have imagined this is where we would have ended up, but
once we made that deal with Strangelove to steal all of his plane designs and
not pay him, well we were a legitimate business to be reckoned with, and
nothing was going to stand in our way.”
Wintergreen: “How
many more places do we need to go to collect these kids?”
PAGE 9. PANEL 3.
Wintergreen is standing next to Milo,
they are both looking up at the map.
Milo: “As many as we need to. Blicero says these kids are the key components,
we need to take as many of them as we can.
When they have to work for us they will know what it is to truly love
their jobs.”
Wintergreen: “Have
you seen Blicero recently?”
Milo: “Not in the past couple days.”
Wintergreen: “Keeps
talking about god, I was wondering if you knew if he was going to church.”
PAGE 9. PANEL 4.
Just a shot of the map.
Milo (off panel): “Probably just trying to get somewhere
higher.”
Wintergreen (off panel):
“Do you mean literally, or figuratively?”
Milo (off panel): “Yes, we’re all just trying to get higher.”
Wintergreen (off panel):
“Literally or figuratively?”
PAGE 10. PANEL 1.
Milo has walked to a
control panel. He is next to a
microphone.
Milo: “Tell the doctors to start prepping the
patients with the suggestion.”
Wintergreen: “Okay.”
PAGE 10. PANEL 2.
Wintergreen is right next to Milo, reaching his arm
uncomfortably in front of Milo’s face and arms
to reach the mike.
Wintergreen:
“Doctors, please begin prepping our patients with the information they
will need.”
PAGE 10. PANEL 3.
Milo stomps his fist into
his other hand.
Milo: “Finally, Wintergreen, it will all be mine.”
Wintergreen: “Ours?”
Milo: “What is good for me is good for us.”
Wintergreen: “So, us
then.”
PAGE 10. PANEL 4.
Milo puts his hand on
Wintergreen’s shoulder.
Milo: “Yes, mine.
I’m so glad you understand.”
PAGE 10. PANEL 5.
Milo has walked off. Wintergreen stands alone looking at the map. Sulking over, about to walk off panel.
Wintergreen:
“Shit. Maybe I should have
clarified better.”
Wintergreen: “Wonder
if good old Aarfy is still hiring.”
PAGE 10. PANEL 6.
A big glowing spike is on the map in southern California, this is Chino
coming fully awake to his abilities.
PAGE 11. PANEL 1.
Chino
walks with Chi, while Myung and Mala walk ahead of them.
Chino: “Dude, so promise not to tell?’
Chi: “What now, have
you been flying and you didn’t tell me?”
Chino: “Not about that dickhole, but something weird
did happen earlier after that Salvia, I’ll tell you about it later. No, something else.”
Chi: “What?”
PAGE 11. PANEL 2.
Chino
pulls out a bag, it has a bunch of small crystals in it that look like
salt. This is ketamine.
Chino: “I got some ketamine.”
Chi: “Dude, when are
we going to take it?”
Chino: “I figure now, we walk off to go the
bathroom, and they save us a spot.”
Chi: “K.”
PAGE 11. PANEL 3.
Chi and Chino
start to walk the opposite way of the girls.
Chi: “Hey, we’re going for a piss.”
Myung: “Thanks.”
Mala: “Gross.”
PAGE 11. PANEL 4.
The boys find a spot next to a some trash and Chino opens the bag.
Chi: “Here.”
PAGE 11. PANEL 5.
Chino
and Chi are looking down into the baggy, we see their faces as if we’re looking

Chino: “This is going to be crazy.”
Chi: “Fucking fun.”
PAGE 12. PANEL 1.
Mala and Myung stand outside the tent, it’s lit up, and
there is a big crowd of people.
Myung: “You ever see
them before?”
Mala: “Daft
Punk? I wish. They were supposed to play here a couple
years back, but couldn’t ‘cus one of them got sick. I’m sure their going to kill it to make up
for it.”
Myung: “Sounds
awesome.”
Mala: “Tell me
something?”
PAGE 12. PANEL 2.
Myung takes a cigarette from Mala.
Mala: “Why my
cousin? You’re a hottie, and he’s a big
dork, plus you’re older. So why? Here.”
Myung: “Thanks. Honestly?
I didn’t know why at first. He
was cute, and funny. But then I started
to realize he treated me better than anyone I had ever dated before. Yeah he doesn’t have a lot of money like
somebody a little older, but what he does have he tends to spend on me, buying
little presents. It’s cute.”
PAGE 12. PANEL 3.
Mala is taking out a flask.
Mala: “What about
when he does dumb shit, like earlier?”
Myung: “Everybody
does dumb shit, it’s just bound to happen.
His dumb shit is way further down on the stupid scale than some of the
guys I’ve dated, and some that you’ve dated too, if I remember.”
Mala: “True. Guess ‘cus we’re related I don’t get it.”
PAGE 12. PANEL 4.
Myung continues to talk while Mala takes a swig from her
flask.
Myung: “Speaking of
stupid young men, how bout my brother?”
PAGE 12. PANEL 5.
Mala lurches forward, as if to spit out her drink, she has a
blowfish face and bug eyes.
PAGE 12. PANEL 6.
Mala swallows the drink, harshly.
PAGE 13. PANEL 1.
Mala looks at Myung.
Mala: “Ah, you bitch,
you almost made me spit out that whiskey.”
Myung: “Come on,
what’s wrong with him?”
Mala: “Ewww, he’s
like Chino,
just dorkier.”
Myung: “Ah, don’t say
that, or I’m going to start thinking of Chino
as my brother.”
Mala: “Hahaha, that’s what you get.”
PAGE 13. PANEL 2.
Chino
and Chi are walking towards them.
Chino: “We’re back.”
Chi: “Oh shit, just

aliens and, and images of other things are coming in. There are silvery blobs around, a Giant red
orb that looks like an ovum is prominent in the cent of the panel. I want this to look like a psychedelic mental
break down. You might want to put tears
or cracks on the page to add to his actual break up. In the top left corner is a smaller inlayed
panel of Chino
puking up silvery looking material. In
the lower right hand corner is an inlayed panel of him smoking D.M.T. and
